Flow Health Science today announced that Klario has been named Winner – Best Health Innovation at the World Food Innovation Awards 2026, unveiled at IFE 2026 at ExCeL London, part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week. The award recognises Klario as the leading health innovation in this year’s programme, which received entries from more than 100 brands across 28 countries.
Klario, Flow Health Science’s flagship product for hypoglycaemia in diabetes, is a ready-to-drink, mechanism-based formula that combines fast-acting carbohydrates with additional brain energy substrates to support more complete recovery from ‘hypos’ than standard sugar alone. Clinical and real-world data show Klario can improve time in glucose range, reduce recurrent hypos and help people get back to their day faster, with less brain fog and fatigue.
“We are honoured that Klario has been recognised as Best Health Innovation at the World Food Innovation Awards 2026,” said Georgia Myers, CEO of Flow Health Science. “With Klario, we are beginning to show how advanced nutrition can move beyond generic supplements to deliver clinically evaluated, indication-specific products that meaningfully change everyday life for people with diabetes, and this award is an important validation of that mission.”
The World Food Innovation Awards are organised by FoodBev Media and celebrate creativity and purpose across the international food and beverage industry, highlighting products that put consumer needs, health, and transparency at their core. Winning in 2026 reflects Flow Health Science’s commitment to combining robust science with practical, real-world solutions for people living with diabetes and other metabolic conditions.
